RIVER STATUS

The Lazy River is on the Salt River - an actual river! We post every Saturday and Sunday of our OPEN status on our Facebook Page. We post by 9am (one hour prior to opening). Our opening depends on weather and the water released from the dam. Please check our Facebook Page for OPEN STATUS before you make the trip.

How long does it take to float the river?

The average trip down the river is about 2 hours. Time varies depending on water levels (it is the actual Salt River). You can always ask for a paddle when you get your tube or bring your own.

Are life jackets required & what is the age requirement?

We provide life jackets. ALL participants are REQUIRED to wear a life jacket. Children MUST be 5 years old to tube. No exceptions!

Can I Bring Alcoholic beverages/beer on the river?

Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed on the Lazy River per State of Kentucky Law. You can bring your own food and non alcoholic beverages not in glass bottles. We do sell water, ice and rent cooler floats.

Do I have to sign a waiver?

YES! ALL floaters are REQUIRED to sign a waiver before renting a tube to float. There must be a PRESENT legal guardian or parent with minor(s) to sign the waiver in PERSON at the River. Adults are strongly encouraged to fill out the waiver HERE before you arrive. Minor waivers MUST be signed in person at River.

Can I get a refund if the weather is bad?

NO refunds for any reason including weather conditions.

Can I float all day?

NO all day tubing tickets. Pricing is for single trips only. We do not offer all day floating tickets. You have to pay per float trip.
